Bring what you already own.

Nobody needs another kit. Most people already have the things that work — they are just sitting in a bag next to four things that were never going to, and one thing that expired two years ago. I sort it, and then I teach you to use what stays.

Four Ways In

The Makeup Bag Edit

90 minutes · $225

In studio

We go through all of it. Three piles — keep, wrong for you, and should have gone in the bin some time ago. Then I do one side of your face, you do the other, and I correct your hands as you go.

You leave with your routine written out in order and a very short list of what is actually worth replacing. No kit to buy, nothing pushed.

The Lesson

60 minutes · $150

In studio · your own products

One hour, one focus. For the person who does not want the whole bag audited — she wants the eye that goes muddy by noon fixed, or the foundation that turns orange by four, or she wants to finally learn a brow.

Name the thing that never works. We spend the hour on that, using what you already have, and you leave with the steps written down.

The Closet Edit

2 hours · $325

In your home

Same eye, different room. Two hours in your own closet deciding what fits, what flatters, and what you have now bought three versions of and worn none of. Three piles again, sorted honestly.

Then we build outfits out of what stays, so the edit ends with things you can actually wear on Tuesday rather than an empty rail and a bin bag.

The Add-On Edit

45 minutes · $95

While your colour processes

Already in my chair for cut, colour or extensions? Forty-five focused minutes on the one thing that never quite works, done in the time you were going to spend on your phone anyway.

Bring your bag to your hair appointment. Pick your problem. We fix it while the colour does its work.

The Bag and the Closet, Together

Half a day · $495

The two edits done in one visit and sorted against each other rather than separately, which is the version that actually works — because the right base for your skin and the right colours next to your face are the same conversation. Ninety minutes in studio, two hours in your closet.

Who This Is For

The goal was never a new face, or a new wardrobe. It is your own, turned up slightly. Twenty years behind the chair has taught me that a look only counts if you can do it yourself on a Tuesday morning without me standing there.

What To Bring

For a Bag Edit or a Lesson: everything. The whole bag, including the things you feel embarrassed about and the ones you are fairly sure are too old. Especially those. Come with a clean face — no base, no tinted SPF — and skip self-tanner on the face and neck for a couple of weeks beforehand if you can, because it changes how a shade reads.

For a Closet Edit: nothing but a couple of hours and somewhere to put three piles. Wear or have to hand the shoes you actually wear, because half of what does not work is a length problem rather than a garment problem.

Closet Edits are in-home in Minneapolis, Edina, Richfield and the near south suburbs. Anything further out, ask and I will quote the travel before you book.

Two Honest Notes

I do not sell product at these appointments and I do not have a kit to move. If something in your bag needs replacing I will tell you what to look for and roughly what it should cost, and you can buy it wherever you like. Where I link to a product online, that link may earn a commission at no extra cost to you — the recommendation is the same either way.

This is cosmetic work, not medical. I am not treating a skin condition and nothing here is intended to heal, clear or fade anything. If something needs a doctor, I will say so.
